• 1,  Elucidation of natural rubber production mechanism and Synthetic biological production by international collaborative research.
• 2,  Bioinfomatical analysis of transcription start site in Arabidopsis, sorghum and para gum.
• 3,  Study of light signal regulating plant morphogenesis (including biomass). Especially elucidation of control mechanism of gene expression by blue light.
• 4,  Metagenomes analysis of marine microalgae.
• 5,  Light control study of metabolic pathway for high biomass production.
